Introducing the Pathway Women's Business Center

Guest Blog by Amy Bunton

Pathway Women's Business Center LogoHi. We’re the Pathway Women’s Business Center, we’re new in town, and we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves.

We’re an offshoot of Pathway Lending, an economic development lender that’s been serving Tennessee businesses since 1999, but lending isn’t what we do at the Pathway Women’s Business Center. We’re here to provide entrepreneurs throughout Middle Tennessee with education, counseling, and mentoring services to help them start, expand or better manage their businesses.

Our goal is simple, to provide everyone that comes to our center with a solution. Whether it’s attending one of our courses, sitting down with one of our counselors, building your peer networks at one of our events, or making a connection with a partner organization like the Nashville Chamber of Commerce our commitment is to helping you move your business forward on your path to success.

The new Center’s service territory also falls within the state’s DRIVE! region which has been recognized by the U.S. Economic Development Administration through its Investing Manufacturing Communities Partnership (IMCP) for a successful strategy on the automotive industry.  Components of the Women’s Business Center programing will be targeted specifically to assisting women business owners who are already in the automotive supply chain or are looking for ways to enter into that market.

We’re excited to work with businesses and resource providers throughout Middle TN. We believe that we’re good partners, and together we can do more to strengthen our business community. You will see by visiting us online that we have a variety of new courses appear in the coming months. We hope you can join us. We also hope that you’ll visit us online at www.PathwayWBC.org, where you can see a complete listing of our current class offerings, sign up for counseling, or just get connected with our team. Take care and see you soon!
